Lovely, overly ornate pneumatic door closer . Made by Newman & Sons and dating to around the turn of the century, talking about 1800’s to 1900’s. This would have been somewhere lavish and posh. Beautifully embossed markings. It still has a lot of pressure in it, so if you actually wanted to use it, it would do the job.
