This is a well used but still attractive hand bell. Possibly a school bell . Lovely hardwood turned handle, the bell is more than likely brass because it sounds beautiful but I have left as I have found, purely because I think it looks nicer like this .
Not sure why 3:8 is engraved into it as I believe this has nothing to do with size .
