Vintage advertising sign / shop sign

Nice unusual sign in a wrought iron frame , probably dating from around the late eighties to the early nineties. It’s the type of sign us older folk used to see quite a bit , but as times have changed and people advertising that they buy penknives and lighters have got fewer and fewer. The lettering is stuck on and is damaged in places and the board looks like some type of ply or mdf type material. The wrought frame has been purposely made for a small post type stand which would have been placed outside of a shop rather than a hanger . There is one bit where the weld has broken which doesn’t affect the strength of the item.
