Rare Gebrude Schmidt Tin Toy Typewriter
Behold a rare toy tin typewriter from the 1920s, a charming artefact that, while generally in good condition, is offered as non-working and intended solely for display. Alas, I confess my ignorance in its operation, rendering it a delightful mystery! The outer casing bears the gentle marks of age, showcasing dings and rust spots that whisper tales of yesteryears.
Despite the typewriter being stamped USA its country of origin in Germany. This is due to after the First World War a lot of products were sold in America through a third party who put their name upon it.
