Great looking item but I unfortunately have to say it is as found. It is made from pottery! A bit vague I know but despite its appearance I believe it is a type of terracotta, maybe . Only because of the way it is chipped in places and it does have a broken bit where someone has glue it back in . Nice glaze to it despite the obvious chips . It stands at approximately 14 inches tall and is approximately 15 inches long .

 Despite its damage, this is a rare item hence the price. If it was perfect it would be a lot of money.
