Extra Large Vintage French Enamel Coffee Pot / Water Jug / Milk Jug.

As you can see from the photos it does have wear and tear as would be expected. It is extra large , in fact I’ve never owned one this big before. Some would call it a coffee pot others would say it’s milk related. The truth be known it could have been used for anything and they usually were . It stands at approximately 13.5 inches high without the lid and has a base diameter of 11 inches.
If I was to guess I would say it’s a cold liquid that would have been carried in it , as even though enamel is tough ! There doesn’t seem to be as much wear to the base as you would expect if it was heated over a fire for example. But clearly the liquid could have been added to it after it had been heated in another vessel.
